dau cant tri deg saith

Anne of Green Gables keeping me company on another day when my body won't let me do anything but sit still.

Also keeping me company - an audio of Nigel Lee talking about 1 John 1.

Nathan: "What are you up to these days?"
Ceryn: "Eh?!"
Nathan: "Forgotten what you look like"
Ceryn: "Well it's a good job you're gonna see me on Saturday then"
Nathan: "Aye spose so. I got another talk to do tonight if you wanna 'help' ;-) "

dau cant da ddeg pump

Only half way through the day but it can't get any better than...

1. Sitting in awe of Jesus after reading Colossians 1:15-23...

2. A lovely email from Abi...

3. And some class post:

'Emma' on DVD from Ros, to replace the one that was stolen...

Chocolates from Liz...

And, to top it all, the MOST generous gift from some family members.
(Housemate Jo, to me: "Are you gonna pick your chin up off the floor and talk anytime soon?!")

A day already spent in awe of God's grace and provision, people's generosity,
and my utter undeservedness of it all. Long may it continue.

Finally getting to sleep, properly, at around 5.15am.

Chatting to Kath. Boss is back! :)

Actually getting some work done. And said work (a chapter of Grudem and all of Colossians) reminding me of just HOW cool it is that Jesus became human.

dau cant dau ddeg dau

Most definitely NOT worthy of 365 was finding a dead mouse under my bed. But, Nathan's text in reply to mine informing him of this fact: "Hahaha that's coz you didn't feed it properly...Try and find a live one and train it to be a guard mouse."

Abi and Arwen being lovely. Particularly lovely, that is!

But to top it all, a much needed walk in the wind and occasional rain along the beach, next to a surprisingly calm sea and under the MOST amazing sky I have ever seen in my life, pouring my heart out to my Daddy, who created it all and who listens to little me.

Time with God.

Jenny's texts.

Dad's email.

Kat's support. Again.

The female receptionist at the hospital telling me her name was Fred (should I publish that?) and me instantly having images of the papier mache chicken Issy made, which we christened by that name. Trying very hard not to laugh.

Issy ringing just to say hi.

Chatting to Katie on MSN, especially her justification for watching celebrity big brother: "I watch it purely for psychological purposes you understand, it's a great insight into the manifestation of madness".

All in all, it hasn't been a bad day really.

Kat's pep talk(s).

The excitement (despite the surreal/scary nature) of our house being a crime scene - I want to change career and go into forensics.
